The fourth WCGS is organized by the Center for Gender and Population and collaborates with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Asosiasi Pusat Studi Wanita/Gender dan Anak Indonesia (ASWGI).
This event will be held as a Hybrid Conference. This theme aims to explore and address the intersectionality of gender, health, technology, and education with a focus on creating inclusive environments for women. The conference would cover a broad range of topics to promote collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation in these interconnected areas. The topics of the conference include the following, but not limited to:
1. Holistic Health and Inclusivity for Elderly, Women, and Differently-Abled: Exploring comprehensive healthcare approaches that consider women's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Topics may include personalized healthcare and the impact of social determinants on women's health.
2. Technology for Gender Equality and Diversity: Showcasing technological innovations that contribute to gender equality and diversity. This could involve discussions on women in STEM, leveraging technology to bridge gender and diversity gaps and the role of artificial intelligence in promoting inclusivity.
3. Creating Women and Children-Friendly Environments: Discussing the design and implementation of spaces, workplaces, and communities that prioritize and enhance the well-being of women and children. Topics may include workplace policies and architectural considerations for women and children-friendly spaces.
4. Gender Education and Empowerment: Highlighting the importance of education in dismantling gender stereotypes and promoting inclusivity. This could cover educational initiatives, curriculum development, and the role of educational institutions in fostering gender equality.
5. Social Inclusion through Technology: Examining how technology utilization can be a catalyst for social inclusion, especially for marginalized groups of women. Discussions may include access to digital resources, online education, and leveraging technology for social advocacy.
6. Family resilience: related to tenacity and toughness, as well as containing physical, material and psychological mental, and spiritual abilities to live independently, and develop oneself and one's family to live in harmony and improve physical and spiritual well-being
7. Policy and Advocacy: Addressing the role of policies and advocacy in creating an enabling environment for gender-inclusive health, technology, and education. This could involve discussions on policy frameworks, legislative initiatives, and grassroots advocacy efforts.
8. Population and Inclusive Environment: related to population control in creating an inclusive environment based on health, gender, diversity, technology and local culture.
By bringing together experts, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates in these diverse fields, the conference can serve as a platform to drive meaningful conversations, share best practices, and inspire collaborative initiatives for a more inclusive and equitable future.
